STAGE 3 Features Explained

I cover the upgraded White Bolts, Sequential Turn Signals and the Satin Black Finish on the Turn Signal Reflector and Main Bezel. I also explain why we do not paint the Projector Shrouds, but instead leave them in the Factory Chrome finish.

Should you Buy New Lights, or use your Stocks?

There are very good reasons to ship your stock lights, or lights you already have purchased but not mounted yet. There are also very good reasons to keep the stock lights you have on the car, and sell them once your new lights arrive.

Parts used in STAGE 3

We look at the specially designed drop in Circuit Board made for the Bolt Headlights. These parts are used in all stages, but Stage 3 makes use of the sequential LED capabilities on the PCB.

Show Modes and Remote

The remote control that comes with stage 3 has a very similar shape to the GTR Key Fob, and has 4 buttons. The first and second button control the 2 show modes, and the remain buttons can be used for any other accessories you hook up.

Why your Stock Lights Suck

A super common question and concern about the R35 Bolt Headlights, is if the bolts will be as bright as stock. The problem with that, is the bolts are TERRIBLE from the factory, very dim and underwhelming. Here's why.

Up Close - Lights on and off

A look at the lights up in low light, and bright light. The Satin Black paint and diffuser are very easy to see here to set expectations of the lights in various viewing situations.

How Long Does This Take?

I walk you through the process from start to finish, with a lot of things to think about. The most important thing to note, is this is NOT a fast process. I turn down all jobs that require immediate attention and turn around.

Is Shipping Included?

Shipping to California might cost 100.
Shipping to Texas might cost 200.
Shipping to UK might cost 300.
Shipping to Australia might cost 700.
The cost of shipping fluctuating by as much as 1500% clearly makes including it into the price of parts and labor impossible.

Can you trade in your 09-14 Lights?

The quick and easy answer is no. These lights have zero demand for them, and almost never have a perfectly clean lens. I give some extra info on this to shed light on the most common problems.
